At Havre de Luxe we want every collector to be able to browse and shop with us easily, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.

Our commitment

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and are continually improving. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive or learning disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. This statement describes our commitment and the work we have done, and is not a claim of full conformance with every WCAG 2.2 success criterion.

What we have done

  • Text alternatives on product and content images
  • Colour contrast checked on text, prices and buttons
  • A visible focus indicator so the website can be used with a keyboard
  • A skip to content link and page landmarks for screen reader users
  • Menus, filters and tables that work on small screens and when zoomed
  • Currency and country selection available on every page

How we test

We review our website with automated accessibility testing tools and manual checks, and we are arranging an independent accessibility audit. We aim to check new pages and features before they go live.

Known limitations

Some parts of the website may not yet fully meet these standards, including:

  • Content provided by third parties, such as customer reviews, live chat, email sign-up pop-ups and payment provider pages, which we do not fully control
  • Some product videos, which may not yet have captions or text descriptions
  • Some older blog posts and pages

We are working with our platform and app partners to improve these.

Compatibility

Our website is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.
